thanks, I thought about siphoning it but it's lower then the bucket so it wont hold a siphon. I remember when I tested the tank and sump for leaks with just water, I had to use my shop vac to vacuum...

What the best way to clean the bottom of a sump, I noticed it needs a cleaning. it is inside my cabinet so I cant take it out. would shutting off the valves to it and using a shop vac to clean it out...

I just purchased a green hairy mushroom from someone, and it about 6 or 7 inches round, I read they eat fish, does this happen often or can I feed it to prevent this.

feeding mushrooms

I haven't various mushrooms in my tank, I was looking to see if adding any zooplankton was a good idea, also is ZooPlex a good choice.
