Well, that is another issue all together...the bucket must be sealed so that air doesnt come in contact with the reactor's interior or the calcium hydroxide will simply turn into calcium carbonate...

I know several other makers are jumping on the 'sulpher wagon' as well, carib-sea has a new sulpher madia as well...so perhaps a call to champion lighting would get you some.

I dont think that the cheaper one had a mixer...

Are you sure that the wrasse wasnt cleaning it? Wrasses are known for picking at clams, but not really the clam itself, just the snails and such it might find on it.
