It definately means the DI filter is working but that is the only determination you can take to the bank... just mix in salt (assuming you have marine kits) and test for the aforementioned nutrients

If it is a new probe then they often need a 3-4 week break-in before stablizing. Try cleaning the probe with vinegar / toothbrush and then recalubrate.
