You could also do a chlorine test on your top off...

You could also do a chlorine test on your top off reservoir before it gets to your main tank.

Some people (myself included) like to start...

Some people (myself included) like to start their lights up around 2 pm so they'll be on until 10 pm more or less... that way you actually get to see and enjoy your tank when you get home from work.

There's another one in YouTube where they show dogs/cats being skinned alive, boiled alive and torched, etc. for food. It's just a different mentality in some parts over there... some cultures think...
