If you have a sump, take a floor fan and point it...
If you have a sump, take a floor fan and point it into your sump area. Now, you will have a greater rate of evaporation but it should keep you water temp down. Thats what I did when I had a canopy.

I agree with Ledford1. Exotic Tropicals is the ONLY fish store in the area. Great selection, trustworthy staff, clean, and totally worth the drive. It is the only LFS I frequent.
