Red tooth snail?

I picked up 3 red tooth snails from LFS, the guy did not know much about them. Well, I cannot seem to find any info on them either?
So here I am. Any info would be appreciated.

Would a four or five inch angler work with a 6 inch v-tailed grouper in my 55 gallon tank? He would not fit in the groupers mouth.

The reason I ask is the 4 inch niger trigger is...
