centipede like things in overflows

morning everyone.

i noticed that my one overflow has a bunch of centipede looking worms. they also are multi-colored. orange and purple.

if this doesn't ring a bell, i'll try to get a camera...

carbon - when to change?

hey all.

i was recently introduced to carbon a few months ago. i've put a few "sacks" of carbon in my sump. my question is, when should these be replaced?

i have a 150 gallon tank.

i currently have a coral banded shrimp.

i want to add in a skunk cleaner shrimp...a tiger pistol and maybe some peppermint or sexy shrimp.

hello everyone.

i'm curious if the brown/dark purple stuff on my sand is cyano or brown algae. i tried turning the lights off for 2 days followed by 1 day of actinics only which seemed to help...
