There is no reason to have 200 snails in a tank. Thats alot of bio-load and its hard to keep track of when they die and where at in the tank. I have 10 cerith snails and 1 mexican turbo in my 180....

I have the Gen x regulator. Its ok but I wished I bought the deluxe regulator that already has the built in needle valve. That is the one to get. I know its more but its worth it.

my 1262 is quiet and doesnt have any vibration noise. They take 1" male threaded adapters. Teflon tape it good before inserting the adapters. Mine has never leaked. HTH

I have a 180 with 170 lbs of base and 20 lbs or live. Look in my pic gallery to give you an idea of how I set mine up. The tank is 5' x 24" x 30" HTH
