No grooves on the inside. I think that it's the grooves on the outside that give my hoses it's flexability. They are pretty flexable and will not kink.

Isn't that called "smurf tube"? You wouldn't want to use that, only because of all the grime and sludge that will build up on all of those little grooves on the inside of the tubing.
