I think you guys are drawing big conclussions from very limited information. My automatic assumption would be that you couldnt cross outside a genus, but seriously what proof is there in marine fish...

2 damsles in a 10gal tank would always be hard...

I believe it may be possible with just rotifers and baby brine. I think porcupine fish can be reared like this.
