I've never seen or heard of this happening, but common sense tells me that since cloudy white stuff coming from a coral or invert usually means spawning, then my vote is for spawning ;)

I wanted to add that my frogspawn has never really cared for cyclopeeze either. Mine likes enriched brine, mysis, and minced silversides, squid, clams and shrimp. Maybe try some of that to entice it...
