What about using multiple pieces for the bottom? Two 1/4" sheets would be cheaper...

I will probably go with starboard on the btm instead of sand. this will spread the weight over a larger area, but I think I will buy 1 and 1/2 sheets of 1/2" to do...

I have a 14k Hamilton 250w light I would like to trade for a xm 250w 20 k bulb, or a 250w e-ballast or ???? let me know what you have.

the bulb is about 4-5 months old w/ 8 hrs per day.
