Yes, please have someone look in on him while you're gone. Can you leave him any liive crabs? Even fiddlers will stay alive for a couple of weeks.

I live in Dallas but I've checked into buying food when we travel to Galveston. Bait stores sell small shrimp but keep them in pretty bad condition - I think you'd want to tranfer them into a feeder...
