Be sure not to run the flow too fast. Youll grind up the rowaphos and it will end up in the tank. As mentioned, there should be slight movement on the top..you may have to tap your reactor every now...

I use one for my topoff and it runs 5' horizontal, 2' down vertically, 13' horizontal, then 2' up vertically...its a very slow drip, but for top off thats what i was looking for...

I have a 25 watt UV sterilizer available to me for free (dad used it in one of his koi ponds) and im debating weather or not to use it. Do any of you guys use UV? Why or why not? ive never used one...
