Correct. =) There is also a 2nd pump that will run the surge plate below each bank of Sea-swirls. Each surge plate will flow about 5000gph in unison with the above sea-swirls.

I personally think you should dump the Starphire...
I personally think you should dump the Starphire glass tank in favor of an acrylic tank for what your looking to do. GLass tanks have too many limitations, especially on loarger projects.

Mike, the Sedra pumps have alot of water back...
Mike, the Sedra pumps have alot of water back pressure to deal with on the 12-6 due to its height and water volume the reaction chamber can hold.Personally I think they should ditch the Sedra pumps...
