who took down there tank, bought the whole setup and got boxes of goodies. Not sure where you can get a new one, but it works...

Since you only have 1 fish, if you put your sand/old water in the 75g, then fill the rest with new water you should be OK to put the fish in. Thats usually how I cycle my tanks.
