At least 30 minutes to allow it to dry and not blow out. If you have live stock involved, then wait 24 hours.

I have 3 years on a hyper flow 20 and 6 months on a hyperflow 32 and no problems other than calcium build up. That is the kalk addition not the pump.

You can run a tooth pick thru it then superglue the tooth pick to some rock. Make sure the leather is touchingthe rock so it wil attach. Rubber banding it to a rock will work also.
