I agree. I'm in the grow-out phase in my current tank so I don't have much to offer, but I 'm always on the look out for new coral and I should have frags to offer in a few months.

My sand bed is only about 2-3'' deep and has been running for about 5 years, and I do nothing other than haivng a good clean-up crew.

I have a royal gramma peppermint and coral banded shrimp w/o problems, but the royal gramma is a royal pain to every other thing in the tank!

I'm not sure, I've heard they don't work that well second hand. If you run 175 watt MHs get Iwasaki... they're not cheap but they're very bright. Some day I want to buy some cheap ones and compair.

Where are you from? I didn't know live rock illegal to import these days.

See if you can't get some chips of coraline and crush it up and put it in your tank. That will seed the tank very well.

photoperiod reduction = reducing the length of time that you lights are on at help acclimate. Then slowly lengthing the photo period until your back to base line.

The inlet is about an inch off the bottom. Right now the lime water is always being mixed up be the powerhead. Maybe I should remove it to allow it to settle?
