yeah, I agree. 12 is a long time. Maybe cut back to 8 for awhile. I ran mine for 6 during my Hair algae problem.

I dropped my plumbing down thru the wall and sole plate. It is a non loadbearing wall and my tank is an in wall. Think my wife would shoot me if I drilled (4) 2" holes in my hardwood floor!

I'm using one on my 90. Light bio load right now, but it skims great with no mods done to it. Do a search and you'll find plenty of modifications that will increase the efficiency.
