I have a torch coral (I cant remember any scientific names) and 1 or 2 heads have died. Should I cut of the dead heads, or leave it alone. It appears the heads next to those are starting to die.

I really want to know if I should buy the sch 80 bulkheads or the cheap ABS 40 size. I dont want to be stuck running sch 80 everywhere.
