It is one of undescribed species of Cirrhilabrus. It is known from southern Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines, and it almost enters the aquarium trade from Cebu. Not known from Indonesian waters...

This is Pseudochromis striatus; Striped Dottyback, from Ishigaki Island, southern Ryukyu Islands (35mm). A smaller species and it is active and eats well.

I got a 35mm long dottyback that looks like Pictichromis porphyrea (Magenta Dottyback). It ws collected in Okinawa.

It is an undescribed species from Fiji and Tonga, and then 'Tonga Fairy' does not sound appropriate.

My friend and I will name it soon with several specimens from Tonga collected by Larry Sharron.

I like Pseudochromis luteus from Okinawa and Taiwan. It is extremely rare and has a combination of yellow and pink.

I am so interested in the unusual colors of linaetus with a darker area.

Also a nice coloration of a male solorensis. Females are red with a bluish abdomen.
