I think that for curing, tap water is fine, just put in some Prime or the like. I am seeding some dead rock in a tank w. some live now, using tap.

I used to sell Marineland and it's hard to beat...
I used to sell Marineland and it's hard to beat the Magnum 350 or the HOT. The latter is sooo easy and flawless and costs less that $ 50.00. I run an Eheim and a HOT Magnum on a 60 gal fish only.

It was in one of those basic containers you can get at any Staples and the six fish died over a 2-1/2 day period and I did a massive water change after the first one died. I would have taken more...

Rock was always mine and I stored it in sealed plastic tub. No copper, pesticides, etc. I was just careless and my fish paid the price. I should have cultured up a ton of bio chem stars or something...

Not shirking responsibility...I killed my fish but as far as compatibility...no problems at all. The Damsels grew up together, the clown was fine, the Dogface was a pussycat and the Lion was small...

Logically, it was the rock BUT...I scrubbed it clean and dried it in the sun 5 years ago and again...a mature Eheim and Magnum filters and AmmoLoc should have taken care of a spike until the bacteria...
