This is a fish store, so we know exactly what we're adding to the tank. Corals were mucusing like mad, water was cloudy, colors were VERY strange. Large monty turned very green, some monty caps...

yeah after running the poly filter overnight we didnt think the test could detect the low levels either

anyways.

this morning almost everything is dead ( SPS)
the poly filter is tinted blue ( meaning copper)
but when i do a salifert...

The only time I've seen "fuzz" like that was in my freshwater planted aquarium when I put a piece of wood in it. I gathered that it was some sort of rot, or algae that fed on rotting plant matter....
