Retro Reflector

I'm changing my tank over and need to get a larger Retro Reflector my lighting. I want it to match the current one that I'm using, which is 36" and hold 2 MH and 2 VHO bulbs. I need one that is 48"....

I know the recommand height submergered for the Euro-Reef Skimmer is 6" - 8" but if you where to keep it submergered even lower in the sump, say 10", would it just skimmer more wet or not skimmer...

Lets face it the bigger the QT the better, in most situtations, and the better setup in the QT makes it even better.

The real problem is a lot of people have just bypassed the QT process...
