I have a 65g DT and 35g fuge Ecosystem - which originally never needed a skimmer. I added a big skimmer about 6 months ago and I just cleaned my skimmer (tonight) and you don't even want to know...

How well did you "rinse" the phosban BEFORE you...
How well did you "rinse" the phosban BEFORE you put in the reactor and charged it up? If not well rinsed, the residual of Phospan can be toxic whe it enters the water column.

I don't expect any problems...should have just shut my skimmer down for 24 hours until the air cleared. It overflowed the overflow before I caught it. Should have known better is all.

What everyone said ... it must come out. You have no choice as you'll lose everything in the tank anyway. Getting it out now is far less extreem then the end result if not.
