What size tank is the sump? I would not do...
What size tank is the sump? I would not do mangroves if it is going to be under a stand, they need high lighting also. I would stick with chaeto and caulurpa profilia. You will not tell a diffrence...

You should drill. I would do two holes, One in each corner. For the AGA pine stand for a 65gal you can fit a 20 long underneith for a sump. So you could also add a fuge in there. I have never seen...

The first piece of rock I ever bought was covered with aiptasia about 100 it was a 10lb rock. I thought they were feather dusters.
I was screwing around with my return and it is not cemented over...

I have looked at melves but it cost alot more than the filter guys. For your drinking water do you sotre it come where? Or when you need it you just make it.
