my best advice is if its in your sump and not the display then dont sweat it...i think of my sump as where all algea should grow...wanted or not...sump should look like swamp thing and the display...

real issue is thawing it out then making the mix...
real issue is thawing it out then making the mix then refreezing. this makes ur food very low on shelf life.... but why do u ask. if uve been feeding it and have no tank issues then id keep doing it....

nooo way!! dont get me wrong they may be ok but ive learned the hard way. u may be adding parasites to your reef! in the past i had access to gulf water. i thought heck i should use it for water...
