STAR, iTS A 3 PRONG TIMER that you can plug a 3 prong plug into without the 2 prong adapter. you've pretty much eliminated the ground by using the adapter.

star, why not just buy a grounded timer. they sell them at HD for about 9 dollars. their made for outdoors which you should be using anyway. you eliminated your ground. not a good thing.

i've always wondered about this. the foam collects crud and you clean it out. is it supposed to be better to keep recirculating the crud. i use foam to eliminate bubbles, and clean out the sponge...

try and keep the water line at the middle of the...
try and keep the water line at the middle of the tee.it gives it more room to dicipate the bubbles. you have to clean it every so often as it acts somewhat like a skimmer.

golfish, if you have room, try this. its cheap. dont glue anything. the bottom left side is capped. and notice the holes in the bottom of the right side. see how many bubbles i have in the sump....
