Nooooo!

The grate
(pop in) is white ABS, the drain itself os black ABS... plastic. I tried turning the grate down and using it on top of the stand pipes, but ended up with gutter guard instead.

Shower drains.... really!

I used two shower drains from H. Depot... about $3 each. Used Silicone and the provided gasket to seal to the glass. No leak/creep. Sanded the wording off the flange and glued ABS elbows to the face....
