If noise is a concern check out Herbies. A local reefer has built a 120g with a Herbies and is running ~2000gph...

Split the return then place them (the outlets) carefully. If you have them going towards each other, bouncing off glass, you can get a random, turbulent flow, then since you have the CL it will mix...

Seems good solid pump but it's loud, no way would I consider it to be in the same room as the display tank or room next to a bedroom etc.

Looking into GLO T5 ballasts for 54W HO.

Unit is all molded but as made from the water proof end caps to ballast is 5'.

I really don't want to but the ballasts in the hood so wondering if I can...
