like I said the shrimp survived a lion who survived purely on ghost shrimp so I don't think that as a problem but I'm still open to all suggestions

Right now I have a 50 gallon tank (36x18x18) With one Gsm(approx. 3-4") a lawnmower Blenny(approx. 5-6") and a Bullet Head Goby(approx. 5-6"), a sebae anemone, and a small pistol shrimp that survived...

between my place of work and another lfs, I got my choice of pretty much anything I want. both have good access to tons of hard to find fish. I got one of them for my mom's tank and we both love it....

I agree that maroons are more aggressive then all other clowns, but to say that they should only be kept in a tank by themselves is not true unless the tank is 20gallons.

Maroons in a tank by themselves. oh dam I screwed up, I've kept a pain in a 65 with several other docile fish with no problems. thanks for changing my mind about them.

mine has only gotten one of my fish, and I was kinda expecting it. I love him in my reef, and they'll leave corals alone. they are only dubbed not reefsafe because they'll eat your shrimp and crabs

And yes they are reefsafe. they will just eat shrimp they can catch and fish that they can fit into their mouth. I'm keeping a small dwarf in my 50 gal reef and he does great

I would cut out the flame angel and get the lawnmower blenny. He was my favorite fish when I had him in my 29, but moved everything over to a 50 and now my dwarf lion is my favorite.

I did check out melev's site, checked out the sump and his overflow. I'm gonna use his overflow design and parts of his 23 gal sump, but it's gonna be different.

Mine stays out a good bit. I'll see him perched on some rock or out on the prowl every time I look at the tank. I love him. oh, ad yes, he's in a reef.
