Heard that styrofoam can really solve the noise...
Heard that styrofoam can really solve the noise issue due to pump vibrating off glass and then on stand. Will this work?

It's not the gurgling sound that the problem....
It's not the gurgling sound that the problem. It's the noise of water falling down the drain pipe. The sound goes through the PVC and makes the room noisy.

The aquasafe systems are pretty good and extremely cheap. Some might disagree on the filter choices that they incorporate, however those can be changed to proper standards after they're used up.

Yeah they are little guys about 1". So frozen food how is it fed? Do you just break it into pieces and throw it or are there other methods such as pipetting or hand feeding.
