cads selfcleaning filter

the self cleaning filter is the cads unit not the dialyseas unit. I dont have one of these ....yet. I have one on standby/preordered but my current plumbing configuration does not allow a cads...

they do have a propensity to lay eggs on acrylic....

they do have a propensity to lay eggs on acrylic. The egg cases are hard and calcarious and will scratch acrylic if caught between magnet and acrylic. I scrape them off before I use my magnet.
