i just brought all my stuff back too and wont be...

i just brought all my stuff back too and wont be able to set up the tank for another day. on the way home everything dropped into the 60's... ive got an air stone and heater going in their bucket...

Thanks for all of your input. I go to school at Western Illinois Univ in Macomb, IL... No clubs or friends will be around at all during this break. Also the option of building a top off system is out...

plus the deeper bed will provide a larger food source and home for the pods, inverts, and fish, it just overall helps the tank... like i said though its my opinion and experience

its true that nitrogen can build and pollute, but like u said a good cleanup crew and diff fish (diamond goby)...

I have had this happen before, just add water directly into return pump area asap. all corals should survive they are probably just really stressed by amount of spray pressure from pump.
