Both shrimp escaped from the specimen cup somehow and I assume went into one of the clams in the tank, but I will never know for sure.

sw-addict is right- I use a Magnum HOT for flow as well as carbon.

It does seem to help with chemical warfare between corals. (only if you change the carbon, though, hehe)
