I had the same problem before, you need to get a live rock with coralline on it and it will eventually spread.
If only with water change and time it will not grow.

I have a blue tang in hypo right now I was thinking of putting on a hang on skimmer in the QT tank also use that as a filter.
Does it work in Hypo at 1.09?

220 I didn't think they can survive that high.

I jsut want to add I use cupramine for 2 weeks and it doesn't seem to be to harsh on the fish. As my 3 clowns swim and ate fine while in cupramine (make sure to test the copper).
