I did have plenty in 6 month in a similar tank. all i did was 2 add 1 small but ecceptionaly good live rock 2 seed the tank with MANY DIFFERENT species of pods. veriety means more niches...

Cmon, this is sher cruelty 2 animals, even if they r not self-contious ones. if u must have a 10g, get 1 shrimp and call it a day.

I beleive a brittle star will be ok (but have a tendency to kick frags down and move small to medium rocks). As to the urchin, dont rely on algae in yuor tank alone! Just feed it, should be ok than.

Depends also on what u plan to keep in it. I'd say you better wait for the rest of yuor life to keep u and the rest of the tank safe, as they usually are trouble in the long run.
