you mean its bleached? photosynthetic corals cannot naturally come in white. they are bleached and growing by way of disolved nutrients. i wouldnt suggest selling them as youre going to have some...

i agree. wellsophyllia is a nice name to use to describe the different growth pattern the once different genera formed. Trachyphyllia is correct for both now though.

yeah, those species are not available to hobbyiest yet. some can be found,, but infruequently at best.

im pretty sure cative reproduction is slow, so yeah, good luck finding them. :D very cool...

i dont think moving them around is a good idea though. having them settled in and not moving is a good way to get them to grow. moving a colony around will make it acclimate to the new situation thus...

cut of a couple coralites, and bleach them. buy, or borrow, Veron's Corals of the Would set and ID it from there....
