I have an oceanic 210 from 1982 and it is fine. Make sure that the silicone is not hard.

Leak test it before you take it inside. I usually let them sit full of water for a few days.

Even wild pers/ocs don't host all that quickly sometimes. I had a pair of CB maroons host into a rose as I was taking it out of the bag - they were in the 'nem before it was out of my hand.

My current copperband won't touch aiptasia. It only rarely eats mysis. It mostly eats off of the reef. I have had it for 11 months.

I would get used to it. I had one for about 9-10 months and I rarely saw it and never saw it eat. I thought that it died many times and then it would show back up a week later. They are shy and...

I rinse my frozen food out too. I also use the pellets to soak up vitamins and fatty acids since they absorb more than meat does.

If he is healthy, then the fin will quickly regrow provided that the "fin root" on the body is not missing.

I would be more worried about the lack of appetite than the missing fin. Also, the...

I had a 11" queen in college. I got it large and it didn't grow noticably in the year that I had it. It was nice at first and then got very mean as it settled. A clown tang tried to kill it and I...

That is a good point. You can find bluethroat or sargassum at 3" or so if you are willing to wait. They can do well in a 135 for a while (years). They are slow growers, but if you are willing to...

Around here, it seems that the indo are half the price of a red sea. Also, the indos do better than the red sea, but they are from a known net collector.

I agree with jmaneyapanda, check out the...

Chaeto is the best for a fuge. It doesn't root and won't go sexual and pollute your tank.

None of my tangs really love chaeto. Nori sheets are better received.
