If you read the active ingredents of Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime it reads exactly the same as kalkwasser... 100% identical. Never used it before but I know chemically they are identical.

Are you sure that that is the right wattage? I have a 2 48" PC fixtures over my 75gal, and each take 4x 65W PC. Anyways try looking for them on ebay.... I got 12x 65W bulbs for around 100$...

FWIW, it could have been the epoxy that is causing the stress. When the 2 part epoxy cures, it releases alot of heat, so if it was very close to the shroom when it was curing that may be the problem.
