Very close to pure white bulb. Pretty intense. Not sure about what the PAR #'s are, but I got better growth out of them than w/ Phoenix's.

Exactly why I said 2 6055's w/o question. Vortecs are great pumps, no doubt, but you'd get better tank coverage with the two tunzes.

For a tank that size, the Tunzes for sure. I don't think you'll be utilizing the full power of either the Vortec, or the 6055's on a 2' tank.

I think you'd be better off w/ 2 halides. 1 halide over a 4' tank is not going to give you very good coverage.

The 3/4" is the U-tube itself. It's normally a 1"...
