Question freshwater dip...??

One of my clown fish has had a white spot on it's bottom fin for about a week and a half. The fish does not act sick and is eating as normal. I gave it a freshwater dip (per LFS guy) about 4 days...

I dont know if its a parasite or ick or what. I dont think I want to crank the temp up that high I would be scared that it would affect the corals.

the higher the water level around the skimmer the more likely it is to overflow I think mine is supposed to run 6"-8" water level you might have to raise your skimmer up a lil

don't want to kick you while your down but I highly recomend not adding any more livestock for a while, and I wouldn't buy anything from that LFS. just my $.02
