There wouldn't be an overly large amount of head...
There wouldn't be an overly large amount of head loss, and you will want it lower flow for skimming and refugium, so I would say the oceanrunner 2500. The small one should work fine.

I usually would spot feed mine by placing some mysis on a polyp, it will grab it and eat it. If you do not see enough polyps closing on food, you may want to try that.

Try a little super glue gel on the calcified portion of the skeneton maybe if that is the case. Hold the skeleton together tightly, and cover the break with the gel maybe?????
