I don't think it is cyano, I have had that before and this is somewhat different. Very clumpy and light brown in color. I'll try to take some pics and post them tonight.

My false clown has something inside poking out of his mouth, looks like a potential worm/parasite and it appears to have two black eyes. I can tell that it is bothering him by the way he jerks...

I don't believe so. But from what I read it is mostly caused by stress. When the fish becomes stressed, for instance when being introduced, shipped, etc. it begins to loose its slime coat opening...
