Oh, I forgot to mention. The spray comes up and hits the shield, but it stays wet so you really don't get anything that blocks the light too bad. Some salt creep around the edges but that's it.

I bought an aquasafe unit on ebay. It really doesn't take too long to install under the sink, and in the long run it ends up being cheaper than trying to buy all that water anyway.

I've never used the ASM G2, but everyone I've known loves them. I have seen one at a LFS and it really seems to pull out thick, dry foam. It would be an excellent choice if you can afford it.

The Urchin is a decent skimmer for smaller tanks, but it really would probably be only marginally better than the Prizm for your application. I would save up a little more and get a larger/better...
