Want to compare Phoenix bulbs

I have two 250w Phoenix bulbs on HQI ballasts and the color just isn't as blue as I expected. Are these bulbs consistent? Does anyone have an old phoenix I can borrow to compare?

You can buy an uninterruptable power source at Fry's. We have one at work hooked up to our laser tracker in case the power goes out. It lasts about an hour but it really depends on the power draw.

I dose kalk using a drip in addition to my calcium reactor. It helps keep my pH higher which helps precipitate phosphates out of the water. The only complaint is it's a pain in the butt to mix it...
