I can say that the 240 does a very good job. I have one running on a 150 gal. The ER's that I have seen do a great job but produce a wetter foam. (yellow water) Their needle wheels are expensive...

There has to be an opening for the air to escape. All of the air from the turbulence in the mixing box will be blown through the drain hose. I tried just using a 1 gal. wine jug. It stunk so...

This is truely pathetic. EVERYONE knows that water changes benefit. Everyones critters look and live better with fresh salt. I just tore down a 55 reef that had one bag of salt used in 7 years.......
