I see you found your info, but fyi, alot of people seem to dislike quiet one's around here. I personally have 5 and have not had any problem's with them and find them to be a pretty good pump.

I have 2 175w m.h. lamps approx. 9" above the water and my temp. doesn't go up at all. Digital thermometer reads 80.5 24/7. So I guess it depends on how many watts and how close to the water.
