why is it that sometims when i does my two part cal/alk when i put the alk part in it looks cloudy for a second? it did it yesterday but not the last few times before that. thanks

are you sure that none of your tangs or wrases are bothering it? another thing to consider if it is in a reef tank that something may have moved into the current and the clam is now not getting...

it does not have to be in the rocks. you may want to put a rock or shell of some kind under the sand where you are going to put it so it can attach to it instead of the bottom of your tank. good luck...
