I have a neon goby in my tank that for the most part takes care of any ich problems. A couple years ago the whole tank had ich including the neons, who had it the worst as nobody was cleaning them....

Wow, I thought all these little guys were herbivorous!! I have a Escenius bimaculatus (looks very close to yours) and he's mostly herbivorous. Good luck with him.

Definitely go slow. Doing a quick drop of salinity will shock the corals and they will die anyway. I'd aim for about a 0.001 point change per day or less.
